The Lover archetype is the healer within each of us. Within every woman, there is a Lover—a Goddess—capable of healing herself and the world through her own love, self-love and feminine powers.
This is the part of us that knows how to genuinely love others, including our partners, family, friends and children.
It's the part that inspires us to give a gift from the heart or go above and beyond for someone else, and it knows how to sense what others need in order to feel loved and cared for.
It also makes us feel on top of the world when we get a compliment or receive an acknowledgement of appreciation.
The Lover archetype is connected to our sexuality, sensuality and femininity—our ability to receive and be in our flow with the cycles of nature.
She is connected to the element of water and her energies are abundant, creative and flowing.
When we embody this archetype, we feel more able to express ourselves freely, share our gifts with others and create something beautiful from nothing.
She's also all about balance—finding harmony between your masculine (logical) and feminine (intuitive) energies so that you can live in alignment with your life purpose.
The Lover has the power to heal others with her healing touch and presence. However, she can also fall into the trap of trying to rescue others or fix them. This can cause her to become codependent or overly controlling in her efforts to help people she cares about.
She may also be overly sensitive at times which means she can take things personally when they aren't intended personally.
The Lover also tends to enjoy being at home, creating a safe haven for herself and those around her. She's often extremely creative and artistic whether that's through dance, writing or painting - you'll find that the Lover loves creating things of beauty.
